Jack Doohan vince la Feature Race di F2 in Ungheria, convertendo magistralmente la pole. Secondo Vesti, terzo Martins.
La Feature Race F2 in Ungheria va a Jack Doohan. L’australiano conduce dal primo all’ultimo giro mostrando un passo impressionante rispetto agli avversari. Secondo posto che vale oro per Vesti, che riallunga in classifica. Terzo Martins e quarto Iwasa, mentre solo sesto Pourchaire che vede Vesti scappare.

Ottima la partenza di Doohan che mantiene la prima posizione, grande stacco anche di Vesti che sopravanza Martins per la P2. Grandi lotte intanto per Bearman, al momento in nona posizione.

Vesti firma il giro veloce, ma nel frattempo Novalak è fermo in curva 4 al quarto giro. Soffre Bearman, partito con gomme dure e al momento in lotta con Correa che si lamenta dell’inglese. “Si sta muovendo in frenata!” il suo team radio.

Quando siamo al sesto giro, la top 3 recita Doohan, Vesti e Martins. Il leader del mondiale al momento è in zona DRS di Doohan ma ancora non è abbastanza vicino per superarlo. Si stacca Pourchaire da questo gruppo, a 2 secondi da Martins.

Al giro 8 inizia la danza dei pit stop, per ora tutti di piloti nelle retrovie. Ancora non si muove nessuno davanti, ma i tempi sono ancora buoni. Al momento nei primi dieci solo Iwasa e Bearman sono su strategia diversa. I due hanno gomma dura, e andranno quindi più lunghi.

Al 17esimo giro tutto tace ancora davanti, con Vesti che perde rispetto a Doohan, portandosi al momento a 2.6 dalla prima posizione.

Si ferma Iwasa al 20esimo giro. Particolare come il giapponese fosse partito con gomma dura e si sia fermato prima dei piloti partiti con la morbida. Risale la classifica Pourchaire dopo il pit intanto, al momento in settima posizione.

Si ferma anche Martins un giro dopo Vesti, con i due che rientrano appaiati. Ha la meglio Vesti che aveva gomme più calde. Tenta l’attacco a Martins anche Pourchaire, ma non riesce a superarlo. Si ferma anche Doohan, primo con 6 secondi di vantaggio su Vesti.

A 3 giri dalla fine Martins si avvicina a Vesti, recupera diversi decimi al giro. Giro veloce di nuovo per Doohan, che lo riprende a Stanek che lo aveva firmato in precedenza.
Passa Iwasa su Hadjar! Il giapponese guadagna così la quarta posizione e si avvicina in campionato a Pourchaire, che deve difendersi da Hauger.
